Criminal Representative
Have you thought about something as ridicilous as being represented in congress by ex-inmates a.k.a ex-criminals?I guess it haven't crossed the mind of people outside Indonesia but here in a country where the President is USA's corrupt puppet and the head of national soccer association is an inmate, even criminals and inmates can be offered by political parties to become representative, as long as the dark figures have money and power to give back to the parties. If a new regulation that allow the political parties to do so is legalized by the (dis)honorable representatives of people that is. The so called representatives, for the past ten years or so, have been peeling off their own masks and slowly reveal their true selves to the people they are represented. They are, in truth, are just a bunch of blackmailers, regulation manipulators, and national budget leeches that fight not for the betterment of the people but fight for the betterment of their elites. What logics can justify fighting for ex-inmates to be able to sit in representative chambers? What logics can justify wasting national budget with taking tours around the world and using exclusive limos and asking salary rise even when they already rich beyond measures? What logics can justify hopping between parties every election years and have no shame doing so? And what logics can justify protecting their peers and blaming others in corruptions that are done cooperatively by the legislatives, executives, and central bankers? What logics can justify doing pleas to the courts to reduce sentences for or even liberate illegal logging barons? Logics that state they are nothing but thieves masquerading as elites and have the power to change words that can affect millions. Political parties, in short, are nothing but corporations; vehicles for their legalized lootings and blackmailings. |
